What We do
We have two training programs. In the Internship in Discipleship (IiD) students learn the basics of studying the Bible and the metal fabrication trade. In the Work Study Program, graduates of IiD hone their skills and contribute to the fabrication project, while learning more about employment and godly character.
Why We Do It
Why teach a young man to work with his hands? Why study the Bible with him? We do this to see transformation take place. Change takes time. Lasting change takes a lot of time, with someone, doing something, for a reason. We are a unique training NGO that combines vocational training, Bible study and business to see the transformation of young men from living self centered destructive lives, to honoring God with their lives, contributing to their society and providing for their families. More than half the population of Uganda (35 Million) is under 15. Only 2% are over 60. There is a lost generation of mentors for a whole lot of young people. We fill that gap for a handful of guys every year. When you put a tool in a guys hand, teach him to use it for a good purpose and engage him with the Word of God, an amazing transformation takes place. He has hope!
